Steam Hose With Boss Couplings And Aluminum Clamps – 1 or 2 Layers of Steel Wire Braid

Steam hose with boss couplings & aluminum clamps is a rubber hose that conveys steam to every link required in the production process.

It is widely used in oil refineries, shipyards, chemical plants, steel mills, foundries and other industrial places for steam transfer and plays the role of cleaning, heat control, humidity maintenance, condensation and atomization prevention.

Structure

  • Tube: Black, smooth, EPDM rubber especially compounded to withstand super heated steam
  • Reinforcement: Multiple braids of high tensile steel wire.
  • Cover: Red, smooth (wrapped) EPDM rubber with excellent resistance to high temperature, weather, abrasion and aging. It is pin-pricked to prevent separation.
  • Temperature: -40 °C to +236 °C(-40 °F to +456 °F)
  • Specifications: ISO 6134-TYPE 2 CLASS B

Production Process

  1. Raw material processing. Mix desired rubber materials through rubber mixing machine;
  2. Inner tube extrusion. Extrude the mixed rubber materials through rubber extruder machine and the rubber hose extruded is the inner tube of the steam hose;
  3. Steel wire braiding. Put the inner tube under hydraulic hose braiding machine and braid reinforcement on the inner tube;
  4. Cover extrusion. Rubber hose with reinforcement passes through the machine and extrude the cover to parcel the reinforcement, this is the third layer of the rubber hose;
  5. Surface texture creation. The rubber material is soft, we can create the texture on the rubber house surface by adding much pressure to the rubber hose surface;
  6. Rubber hose vulcanization. Vulcanize the rubber hose in the vulcanizing boiler equipment and the rich steam heating will mature the rubber material, making rubber molecules become closer, to give the rubber hose stable performance.
  7. Pressure test. Carry out burst pressure test to test the quality of rubber hose;
  8. Package.

Features

Steam hose is mainly made of EPDM and has good resistant to high temperature and steam to ensure the stable transfer of superheated steam and saturated steam. In addition, it has excellent resistant to aging, ozone and weather, and can suit to various production environments.

Application

Steam hose is widely used in the process of heating, power supply, steam cleaning, moisturizing and steam atomization.

For food processing
It plays the role of providing heat source. It conveys high temperature steam to fluid container in the food processing plant to maintain the temperature of the fluid container. It also supplies heat sources for oil refineries and chemical plants.

For power plants
It provide driving force for steam turbines used in heat-engine plant for power generation. It transfers steam from one place to another place and produces energy through the movement of steam hot particles.

For steam cleaning
It mainly used for a wide range of surfaces, for example, steam soot blower commonly used in industries. Steam blower releases high temperature steam through the nozzle to remove soot/sediment attached to the heated surface during long-term use from coal/oil burning furnaces.

For paper moisturizing
It is used to maintain the ambient moisture in paper production. It prevents paper from breaking caused by drying when turning the paper at high speed. This function is also used in feed mills to provide additional moisture and heat to the produced feed.

For steam atomization
It is applicable to the steam atomization process. Some fuel combustion engines prompt fuel generators decompose small sticky oil droplets by transferring steam to achieve the purpose of maximizing combustion efficiency and reducing soot.
